Cleaning
Although the design of Marsh Country Feeder greatly reduces the chance of
seed accumulating in the bottom, it is still important to occasionally clean
your feeder. Dirty feeders can spread disease. To clean the tube, simply remove
the seed bag by compressing the cord stop and slide it back on the drawstring.
This will allow you to enlarge the top of the bag enough to remove it from
the bottom of the tube. The tube can now be washed or scrubbed using a mild
soap and water solution and a soft brush. To clean the bag, simply wash it
by hand in a mild soap and water solution. Allow both the bag and the tube
to completely dry before re-assembling. As with the cleaning of any bird feeder,
be sure to thoroughly wash your hands with soap and water after handling.
