If your Marsh Country Feeder did not come assembled, you will need to install either one or two aluminum perch rods through the seed tube. Simply insert a rod into one of the larger 1/4-inch holes and push it through to the corresponding hole on the opposite side of the feeder until equal amounts of rod are protruding out each side. To install the mesh seed bag, first make sure the opening of the bag is large enough to fit over the lip on the bottom of the seed tube. Insert the bottom of the tube into the opening of the bag. Compress the cord stop and slide it snug against the side of tube. Tying a single knot behind the cord stop will ensure the seed bag remains firmly attached to the seed tube.
